The Barber

No this isn't a movie staring Ice Cube and Omar Epps!  It isn't about a classic old black owned barber shop in the Bronx!  If you are already disappointed, then this movie might not be for you.  You know that creepy old dude in your small town who goes to the same diner and orders the same thing every day?  The one who you catch staring at you in an uncomfortable way, and seems a little too friendly.  Picture him.  Now guess what?  He is a sadistic serial killer who kidnaps women and buries them alive.  "No, not old man Johnson" you say.  YOU ARE WRONG, he kills so stay away and don't take an unexpected ride from him.  So this movie is your classic Cat and Mouse, catch a killer type movie.  But did he really do it?  Is the Cop good or Bad?  Is the old due really a guy with a bad back, or a fuckin champion kick-boxer!  These are the questions you will ask yourself during this movie, then at the end think, of course!  Pretty good acting and a decent plot, its been done a number of times before and there are no new twists, but its a good fall back.  The kind you will see playing on TNT, or Spike every Saturday next year.  If you like the new age detective stories, this will be one for you to watch.  Now go break into Old Man Johnson's house and start looking for clues!

FYI:  Chris Coy, the main character wants to be Edward Norton really, really bad!
