American Mary

Be careful the next time you meet a medical student who wants to be a surgeon, you may just end up on her operating table, (evil laughter follows).  Good clean wholesome Mary, just wants to be a surgeon.  She attends her classes taught by quite possibly the biggest asshole professor in the world.  She is your typical starving student who is on the brink of getting her phone, lights, and all other essentials shut off when a miracle happens!  She is offered an excellent way to make some much needed extra cash using her surgical skills.  Thats when the story turns crazy weird, but awesome.  Invited to a party by some of her professors for those students that are exceptional, only to fall victim to one of the teachers.  Revenge is a sweet thing in movies, especially when they get away with it.  Lovely Mary then takes the lemons that life has dealt her and makes a lemon-aid spiked with Vodka and a side of Bacon!  I though this was going to be your average B rated slasher flick but I was extremely impressed.  The only reason I watched it is it was also one of the top 50 movies on Netflix today.  Acting was pretty good, and Mary is pretty hot, and her BFF, aka Mrs. fucked up facial surgery is hilarious.  Give it a shot and bring the kids, this family movie is sure to give anyone a good nights sleep!

FYI:  The Soska sisters, who played the freaky deaky twins in this movie also wrote and directed it.  Their parents put their house up for mortgage in order for them to make this and both had cameos in this movie.
