Who doesn't like a scary ass clown movie!? Here is one that
gives Pennywise a run for his money! The next time your digging through an
old trunk chained to the wall, keep in mind you might not want to mess with the
creepy stuff inside! Here we have the ever so common story of a hard
working Dad trying to make his bratty son happy. What does the little
nerd want? A Friggin Clown for his 7th Birthday. Well the real
clown flakes out so Daddy has to take on the role. He searches through an
old trunk in a home he is trying to sell and what does he find? Yep, you
guessed it, a cursed clown suit that possesses anyone who puts it on. This
unlucky son-of-a-bitch starts to go through changes and a transformation
turning him into a maniacal killer clown hunting down kids. This is the
latest from Eli Roth, and I absolutely loved it! Most people don't like
his movies anymore and think his is a one trick pony, but I have to disagree.
The movie was creepy, kept you on the edge and had a great story.
Lets be honest, its not going to win any Oscars, but its a movie about a
killer clown! The only down side to this was they went just a little too
far with the transformation. I don't want to spoil it, but I would have
liked to see him just go crazy as the clown and no creature-like
transformation. This is a must watch in my book, and hey, just in time
for Easter!
FYI: The movie posters in Italy had to be censored due to
being too scary.
